I have put together a new gadget to the right entitled Librarian 2.0. It is just below the February calendar.
As we have been meeting to work on "branding", planning and the idea of a regional network of libraries & services--we have been warning you that 2009 will be our "transition year"--in 2010 we plan to, as Karen says: BOD, Blow Off Doors!
The January 22 Petting Zoo session is intended to once again aquaint everyone with the new technologies. Information is being delivered in lots of new formats and as librarians, it is our duty/responsibility to be aware of these new formats.
Not your grandmother's library, indeed folks! Not even your mother's library. Things are changing rapidly and will continue to do so. Best to not resist! Just put on your seatbelts and hang on!
