Wii Tourney

Thanks Jessica! Great idea.
But be prepared: the kids at Fredericktown want the online event to be semi-regular.

Fredericktown advertised the event on their sandwich board and had a poster in the library. I'll try to upload a picture of the poster. They kept a sign-up sheet at the main desk and the order of players for the tournament was the order in which they had signed up. Dawn had a piece of poster board with the player order hanging under the t.v. It worked like clockwork. She even had a board member bringing pizzas at 6:00!

The trophy is being done "Stanley Cup style". The winner will get their nameplate added to it and they will keep it until the next tournament.

For those of us that weren't in this year's tournament, I am planning to have a "training session" or two (thanks again to Jessica) to get us all on board.

This regional programming event has the capability to evolve and grow. It accomplishes so many goals already! And the potential is exciting.
