Flying. No longer "fun": long lines at security; practically undressing at the security gate; filling bins; being randomly selected then scanned; TSA agents everywhere; alert level announcements on the loud speakers...
There were 3 initial TSA agent stations to check your ticket & I.D. Luckily I got the one that was smiling. I said to him: "I'm so glad I got you, you're the only one smiling". His response was: "I love my job". Wow! I just can't imagine that being a "lovable" job, but to each his own. The rest of the security experience was stressful and cumbersome. But it ended there! The airline agents at the gates were very pleasant and accommodating. Even jovial. Even the staff on board the aircraft were the same. The co-pilot was sitting in a seat talking to folks he knew who were on the flight. The flight attendant was getting to know (and making comfortable) the small children on the flight. Another flight attendant made sure a husband got to sit in the same row as his wife and young child. And all with a pleasant voice and a smile. No attitude.
Watch out Southwest, Frontier is vying for your spot! Frontier's "signature" snack is chocolate chip cookies! Very good chocolate chip cookies. Their brand is "spokesanimals" found on the tails of their planes.

As Frontier touched down in Denver (20 minutes early, no less) the flight attendant announced "Welcome to Anchorage". Of course everyone laughed. Then we were told that Grizwold the Bear appreciated our flying with Frontier. Everyone deplaned with a smile on their face!
Everything ALWAYS comes back to customer service.
